Dr. Antony Thankachan Kattakayam completed his MBBS at Sri Devaraj URS Medical College, Rajiv Gandhi University, Bangalore, Karnataka (2003-2010). He completed his MD in Radio diagnoses in 2014 from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu.

He has also published a thesis on Sonological evaluation of scrotal pathology by high frequency ultrasound and color doppler examination.

He has done Adult brain imaging and medical imaging anatomy courses from radiopaedia also.

Before joining NMC Royal Medical Center he has working in VPS Lakeshore Hospital, Cochin, Kerala, India as a Consultant in Department of Radiology.

He has got Hands on advanced sonographic training in Fetal anomaly, Echo Cardiography and 3D / 4D imaging at Sonoscan, Coimbatore under supervision of Dr. S. Boopathy Vijayaraghavan.

He has got academic interests in Vascular Interventional Radiology and MR Imaging of focal Pancreatic and Pancreato-biliary Lesions, Hepato-biliary Interventions, Imaging of Liver and Kidney Transplant.
