Dr. Arun Thattunkal Korah

Dr. Arun Korah completed his MBBS in 2000, MD (General Medicine) in 2004, and DM (Gastroenterology) in 2007 from Government Medical College Trivandrum, University of Kerala, India.

In 2007, he started practising in Dr. Nair’s Hospital, Kollam, India as a Consultant Gastroenterologist for 3 years.

Prior to joining NMC, he was Head of Gastroenterology Department at the Ahalia Hospital, Abu Dhabi and Universal Hospital, Abu Dhabi for 4 years each. Dr Korah completed his MBBS and MD (General Medicine) from Government Medical College, Trivandrum, India, followed by DM Gastroenterology from the same institution. Subsequently he worked as Consultant in Nair’s Hospital, Kollam and Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Trivandrum. He also completed a fellowship program in Functional Bowel Disease from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. He has also been awarded the Speciality Certificate in Gastroenterology by the Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom.

His areas of expertise include Medical Gastroenterology, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy and also Manometry and motility studies.

Dr. Arun speaks English, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam.
