Dr. Asheesh Vinay Mehta

Dr. Asheesh joined our group as Specialist Internal Medicine at Emirates Hospital Clinic, Fujairah. He has completed MBBS and MD (General Medicine) from Grant Medical College, Mumbai, FCPS from College of Physicians & Surgeons, Bombay, India and MNAMS (General Medicine) from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, India. He has more than 35 years of experience post his MD.

Was attached as Honorary Physician at Sarvodaya Hospital, Bombay, a 1000 bed hospital. Was also attached as Gastroenterologist at J.J.Doshi Hindu Sabha Hospital, Bombay, a 100 bed hospital with an advanced GI set-up including Upper & Lower GI endoscopy and ERCP facility.

Underwent training in Gastroenterology and Gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures in France in 1985. In private practice in UAE since 2002.

Have teaching experience as Registrar and Lecturer in Medicine at Grant Medical College in Bombay, India and also teaching experience in UAE (teaching dental students at Ajman University, Fujairah campus).
