Dr. Ashraf Nadeem, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician in the Critical Care institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Nadeem was Chief of the Intensive Care Unit at Hafr Elbatin General Hospital, Hafr Elbatin, Saudi Arabia. He has previously served as an Assistant Consultant in King Faisal Specialist and Research Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Deputy Chairman of Intensive Care at the Northern Area Armed Forces Hospital in Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Nadeem’s main practice is in tertiary medical and surgical intensive care, with special interest in post-liver transplant management. He is an active member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and an instructor for the society’s Fundamentals of Critical Care Support professional education programs.
Dr. Nadeem earned his medical degree from Cairo University in 1989 and also holds a master's degree in Internal Medicine and a PhD in Critical Care Medicine.
He has had several articles published in academic journals, is a lecturer in Cairo University’s Critical Care Department and has been a member of the Saudi Critical Care Society since 2009.
