Dr. Asiya Pathan

Dr. Asiya Pathan has joined Burjeel Hospital as a General Practitioner. In 2017, Dr. Asiya graduated from Pakistan’s Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. Prior to joining Burjeel Hospital, Dr. Asiya served as a General Practitioner in General Medicine and led both the inpatient and outpatient departments at Sindh Government Lyari General Hospital, Pakistan. Dr. Asiya’s areas of special interest are gastroenterology and gastrointestinal oncology.

• Research work on the experience of postpartum bleeding in women with inherited Bleeding disorders.
• Research work on diagnostic value of peripheral hematology markers for coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
• Research work on nosocomial infection control practices.
