Dr. Assem Abdulrahman A. Hussain

Dr Assem graduated in 2009 from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Gezira in Sudan. He completed his internship in Khartoum, Sudan under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Health. Thereafter Dr Assem joined the international NGO; EMERGENCY ONG Onlus as a senior House Officer at the Salam Center for Cardiac Surgery, working with teams of international experts to treat under-privileged patients and those who are affected by war in Africa and other countries. He has five years of experience in Abu Dhabi, working in private hospitals.

He is a general Medical Practitioner registered with the Medical Council of Sudan, Medical Council of Ireland and Department of Health- Abu Dhabi.

Dr Assem also enrolled in multiple clinical courses with King's College London and St. Andrew. He is also interested in understanding the dynamics of private healthcare sector dynamics and obtained a MBA and MSc of Healthcare Management through the Swiss Business School.

He is currently undertaking his Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK).

Clinical Research: he published clinical a paper about case reports in adult Cardiology, Cor triatriatum (or tri-atrial heart) and another paper of medical history; co- author with Dr. Rocco Macri. Joined Mediclinic October 2019
