Qualifications
Dr. Demian gained a master’s degree (Ms.C) in Anaesthesia from Mansoura University, Egypt in 1989 and later completed his M.D Anaesthesia in 1994 from the same university.

Experience
Dr. Demian has worked as an anaesthetist in hospitals in UAE and Egypt. He is a professor of Anesthesia and ICU in Mansoura University, Egypt. Before moving to the UAE, He was associated with Mansoura University for 23 years, where other than his clinical responsibilities; he was involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education of anaesthesia courses and was supervising anaesthesia residents and assistant lecturers. He is Clinical assistant professor in department of clinical sciences, college of medicine, University of Sharjah.

Prior to joining University Hospital Sharjah (UHS), he was the Medical Director, Anaesthetist and Pain Management specialist in a Day Care Surgery Centre in Dubai.

His clinical expertise covers all types of anaesthesia including peri-operative care, intensive care management of critically ill patients, resuscitation and pain management.

At UHS, he is also responsible to provide leadership and management for the emergency department.

He has widely published many anaesthesia and related topics in international peer-reviewed Journals and has attended many international and national conferences both as a speaker and as a delegate
