Dr. Aydamir Alrakawi

Dr. Aydamir Alrakawi, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Digestive Disease Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Alrakawi was a Gastroenterologist at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Clinic, Manchester, New Hampshire, US.

Dr. Alrakawi received his medical degree from Damascus University, Damascus, Syria in 1990. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Fairview Hospital, Cleveland Clinic Hospital, Ohio, US.

After completing his residency, Dr. Alrakawi practiced as a Primary Care Physician in Mississippi until 1996. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Washington University in St. Louis and another fellowship in Biliary Endoscopy (ERCP).
