Dr. Ayesha Ahmed

Dr. Ayesha Ahmed, MBBS, is a Staff Physician in the Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Ahmed practiced as a Consultant Psychiatrist at the Lincolnshire Partnership National Health Service (NHS) Foundation Trust, Lincoln, UK. She has extensive experience helping patients manage psychiatric conditions and has provided consultations in liaison psychiatry, early intervention in psychosis, psychiatric intensive care, community & rehabilitation psychiatry, assertive outreach, crisis resolution & home treatment, perinatal mental health and adult ADHD.

Dr. Ahmed earned her MBBS from Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan and completed her residency and fellowship training in National Health Service (NHS) Trust teaching hospitals in London and Leicester, both in the UK. Throughout her career, she has been actively involved in teaching medical students and is an advocate of patient education.

She has a keen interest in studying and minimizing stigma associated with psychiatric care.
