Dr. Baraa M. Abduljawad, MD, is a staff physician in the Critical Care Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Prior to moving to UAE, Dr. Abduljawad was working as a Critical Care fellow at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA.

Dr. Abduljawad received his medical degree with honors from the King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia. He then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. After, he moved to Ohio, where he completed a fellowship in Transplant Hepatology at Cleveland Clinic. This was followed by Critical Care fellowship. Naturally his area of interest is care of patients with advanced liver disease, acute liver failure and transplant critical care.

Currently, Dr. Abduljawad resides in Abu Dhabi with his family. When he is not working at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Abduljawad enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and fine dining.​​​​​​
