Dr. Bruno de Oliveira

Dr. Bruno de Oliveira is an Associate Staff Physician ​in the Critical Care Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic, Dr. de Oliveira worked as a specialist in Critical Care Medicine in Lisbon, Portugal at the Vila Franca de Xira Hospital and at the Santa Maria University Hospital. He specialized in Medical, Surgical and Trauma Critical Care in a tertiary and ECMO care center in the country’s largest Hospital. He also taught national lung ultrasound and mechanical ventilation courses and mentored medical residents in Critical Care.

His research interests include antibiotic pharmacodynamics, targeted temperature management and respiratory extracorporeal support. He was a clinic research student at Hopital Georges Pompidou in Paris.

Prior to Critical Care, Dr. de Oliveira specialized in Internal Medicine with a special interest in Inherited Metabolic Diseases and Hypertensive disorders.
