Dr. Mounayer began his forty year career as an M.D. doctor in Bordeaux, France. He not only worked in the CHU Teaching Hospital in Bordeaux, but also opened his own private office in Abu Dhabi in 1980 until 1997. Following that in 1997, Dr. Mounayer founded the French-Emirates Medical Centre which within three years developed into a hospital. He was the CEO and Managing Partner until 2012.

After selling his shares in the hospital, Dr. Mounayer began working as a consultant at Harley Street Medical Centre in Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Mounayer is additionally the Advisor Doctor for the UAE’s French and Switzerland Embassies, as well as for Total UAE and many other institutions.
