Dr. Daniela Graf

Dr. Daniela Graf is a German board-certified specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry at ACPN. She has over ten years’ experience working as a psychiatrist, adopting a patient-centric, holistic approach to her care.

She obtained her medical degree from Eberhard-Karls University of Tübingen in Germany in 2008. She then earned her Facharzt (specialist) degree in 2015 by undergoing post-graduate training in child and adolescent psychiatry at leading institutions including the university medical center at Goethe University, Frankfurt for a period of one year until 2011 and at the Vitos Herborn clinic for psychiatry, Hanau for four years until 2015. She then She moved to Dubai in 2017 where she practiced at institutions including the German Neuroscience Center, and Novomed Centers in Dubai.

Dr. Graf is skilled at diagnosis and management of behavioral and emotional disorders such as ADHD and depression; developmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder; stress-related and somatoform disorders including anxiety, OCD, mood disorders, and phobias.

She also is skilled in the management of behavioral and emotional disorders in childhood and adolescents including disruptive disorders, Tourette’s syndrome, bullying, separation anxiety, oppositional defiant disorder, and enuresis. She uses a variety of techniques and tools ranging from assessment to therapeutic intervention through coaching, education and support, talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, anger management, play therapy, systematic desensitization, and family/couple therapy, to remediate a wide gamut of mental health issues. Dr. Graf has a strong commitment to her patients and adopts a relationship-orientated approach based on empathy, support and problem solving. She works closely with her colleagues in the psychiatry, neurology, psychology and pediatric departments by following a multidisciplinary approach.
