Dr. Deepa Grandon, MD, is an Allergy and Immunology consultant in the Respiratory ​Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Grandon worked as an Allergy/Immunology Consultant at San Tan Allergy, one of the leading allergy group practices in Gilbert, Arizona. During her tenure, she was also responsible for training and overseeing mid-level providers, such as physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Moreover, she provided educational sessions for nurses within the organization and was actively involved in educating medical students and pre-medical students who performed their specialty rotations in her office. She was a regular contributing writer to the practice Facebook page, which was functioning as an educational tool for her patient population.

Dr. Grandon is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology. Her specialty interests include severe asthma, eosinophilic esophagitis, primary immune deficiency states, angioedema, anaphylaxis and general Allergic disorders.

With a medical degree from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India, Dr. Grandon trained in the US in Internal Medicine at the University of Tennessee, Memphis, then completed a post-doctoral, severe asthma research fellowship at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio and a clinical fellowship in Allergy/Immunology at the University of California, Irvine.

She enjoys spending time with her family, playing the piano, running, traveling and volunteering in philanthropic activities geared towards the less fortunate.
