Dr. Devadas Nijandas

Dr. Nijandas completed his graduation (M.B.B.S) from the Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore University, India in 1991. Subsequently, he completed his M.D from the JJM Medical College in Kuvempu University, Davangere, India in 1997. He is certified in Basic Neonatal Ventilation (2002), Advanced Neonatal Ventilation (2011), Total Parental Nutrition in Neonates (2012), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - 2013 and Basic Life Support (BLS) - 2014.

Dr. Nijandas practiced mainly in India and the Middle East. He started his career in pediatrics at the Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai, India in 2001. He then moved on to the Government General Hospital in Calicut, Kerala as a Specialist in Neonatology. In 2004, Dr. Nijandas had a brief stint at a government hospital in Saudi Arabia. In 2005, he moved on to a government Maternity and children hospital in Saudi Arabia also as a Specialist in Neonatology.

In 2009, Dr.Nijandas returned to India and joined the Bishop Bensiger Hospital as a Consultant in Neonatology. He subsequently joined a prestigious government referral hospital in Abu Dhabi in 2013 as a Specialist in Neonatology.

Dr. Nijandas has more than 15 years of experience in his field spanning the Middle East and India. He has published a number of papers in renowned journals along with being the coauthor of the book "Pediatric Cardiology an Update". He has also been involved in medical conferences as a participant and as a speaker.
