Dr. Dirk Laubscher

Dirk Laubscher is a highly motivated and well respected Musculoskeletal Specialist Physiotherapist who has been treating patients for the past 20 years in private practice. He arrived in the UK in 2001 from South Africa and is specialized in the treatment of acute and chronic conditions of the spine (back & neck) and sport injuries.

He has been the owner of The Back Clinic on Harley Street, London for over 15 years which he re-branded in 2006 with his wife and Nutritional Expert Dr Simone Laubscher, to Rejuv Physio and Nutrition. His specialized MedX back and neck rehabilitation protocols he brought over from his clinic in London are unique and HSMC is the only clinic in the GULF that offers this treatment.

He has treated various A-Class celebrities including Academy Award Oscars winner Dame Helen Mirren, actor Matt Lucas, singer Lily Allen, Supermodel Elle Macpherson, elite athletes including former Australian Cricket Captain Michael Clarke and former Formula 1 racer and Grand Prix winner Heikki Kovalainen to name a few. Many West End musical actors, professional ballet dancers and other elite athletes have also sought out his help over the past 20 years.

Dirk has a very practical and functional approach to pain and injury and focus on finding and treating the cause of the problem, not just the symptoms bringing about permanent results. He also writes articles for Men’s Health and other top London magazines.
