Dr. Elham Abdel Zaher

Prof. Elham Abdel Zaher is our Dermatology Consultant at Danat Al Emarat Hospital. With more than 35 years of experience, Prof. Elham worked in many leading medical organizations in UAE and Egypt. Her clinical scope of services includes diagnosis and treatment of all dermatologic diseases including dermatoses of pregnancy, psoriasis, and vitiligo, all cases of burn, hair & nail problems. She is also highly interested in all cosmetic therapies including Botox, Fillers, PRP, mesotherapy, rejuvenation, resurfacing, treatment of all types of pigmentation, dermabrasion, and peeling. In addition, she is highly expert in the use of all types of LASERS and IPL for hair removal as well as fractional LASER.

Dr. Elham is a Professor Doctor of Dermatology and Venereology and head of LASER department at Ain Shams University, Egypt. She has authored medical articles published in peer-reviewed journals and lectured at several international conferences.

Experience

Dr. Elham graduated from Ain Shams University in 1979 and completed her internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at its affiliated hospital in 1983. She then earned her Doctorate in Dermatology and Venereology at the same university in 1991. Dr. Elham is a member in the Egyptian Society of Dermatology and Venereology, Pan Arab League, Arab Society of Dermatologic Surgery and Egyptian Women’s Society for Dermatology.
