Dr. Emad George

Dr Emad has been Medical Director for Imperial College London Diabetes Centre (ICLDC) from March 2020. He joined ICLDC in 2015 after 16 years as a Consultant Physician with a specialist interest in Diabetes & Endocrinology in the UK. He graduated from the University of Cambridge where he also obtained his MD for research into hypoglycaemia unawareness.

He has a longstanding interest in Medical Education with a number of roles in the UK including being an Associate Postgraduate Dean in the East of England At ICLDC he led on medical educational activities until his change in role.

He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London and an MRCP PACES examiner, examining regularly in Dubai/ Sharjah.
