Dr. Eric A. Vens, MD, is the Institute Chair in the Imaging Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He specializes in abdominal radiology and interventions.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Vens spent nine years in private practice in Hagerstown, Maryland, US and Phoenix, Arizona, US. He also served as Chairman of Radiology at the West Valley Hospital in Goodyear, Arizona, US.
Dr. Vens received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, US. He completed his residency in Radiology at the George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC, US and completed his fellowship in Abdominal Magnetic Resonance Imaging at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, US.
Dr. Vens lives in Abu Dhabi with his wife and three children. He enjoys travel, reading science fiction, watching movies and scuba diving.
