Dr. Fadi Hijazi

Dr. Fadi Hijazi, MD, is the Chief of Nephrology in the Medical Subspecialties Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Hijazi worked as a Consultant Nephrologist at Saint Joseph Hospital and Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, New York and at Saint Francis Hospital and Columbus Regional Health Care System in Columbus, Georgia, US.

During his career, Dr. Hijazi has served as Faculty of Medicine and Consultant Nephrologist at the Lebanese University. Subsequently, he held the position of Head of Division of Nephrology and Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine at the Makassed General Hospital in Beirut, Lebanon.

Dr. Hijazi has published his work in various medical journals and is involved in multiple educational activities. Over his twenty year career, he has earned the trust and respect of his colleagues by providing excellent and compassionate care and by being very accessible to his patients and c​aregivers.

Dr. Hijazi completed his medical degree at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, before moving to the US to complete his residency and fellowship training.​​​​
