Dr. Fahad Alsindi

Dr. Fahad Alsindi, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Heart and Vascular Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Alsindi worked as a Consultant Heart Failure Cardiologist at Mohamed Bin Khalifa Cardiac Centre, where he established Heart Failure Services at the Cardiac Center in Bahrain. He was also a Staff Consultant Cardiologist at the Heart Failure Center of Excellence, East Maine Medical Center, Maine, USA. During his tenure, he attained a number of leadership roles at the Hospital. He was the Director of the Lipid Clinic, as well as the Director of the Cardiac Rehab Unit.

Dr. Alsindi qualified from The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland with honors. He then completed his internship at the Bahrain Defense Force Hospital, Bahrain. He then joined the Mohmmed Bin Khalifa Cardiac Center as a Cardiology resident and then a Senior Resident, obtaining the Membership of The Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom, MRCP (UK). He then pursued his postgraduate training as a Specialist Registrar in York, England. He became an Associate Clinical Tutor of The Royal College of Physicians, Northern Deanery.

He then moved to Boston, USA, where he completed an Internal Medicine residency at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. He then became nominated as Chief of Residents and worked as an Internist at The Lahey Hospital. Following that, he completed his Cardiovascular fellowship at the same establishment.

Outside of work, Dr. Alsindi enjoys playing tennis and football. He resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and children.​
