Dr. Fatma Heikal

Dr. Fatma started her professional career as an intern in Ain Shams University Hospital, Egypt and later worked with many prestigious government hospitals such as Al Galaa Teaching Hospital – Cairo and Khamis Mushait Maternity Hospital – a ministry of Health hospital in Assir, Saudi Arabia. Prior to joining Brightpoint Royal she was last associated with Corniche Hospital, Abu Dhabi as senior specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has over 19 years of Obstetrics and Gynaecology experience in countries such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia and UAE.

Dr. Fatma holds MBBCH degree in medicine from Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, Egypt. She later completed her masters from the same university in 1998. She holds membership of Egyptian and Saudi syndicate. She has attended many conferences and workshops during this time.Dr. Fatma specializes in high-risk obstetrics, medical problems in obstetrics, preterm labour, infertility, general gynaecology, contraception, and postmenopausal care.

She has special interest in vaginal birth following repeated cesarean section as she is experienced in operating multiple previous and complicated cesarean sections.

Dr. Fatma speaks Arabic and English.
