Dr. Feras Haidar

Dr. Feras Haidar obtained his MBBS from the Faculty of Medicine, Damascus University, Syria in 2001 and obtained MD in Orthopedic Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine, Aleppo University, Syria in 2008. He got the Arab Board certificate in Orthopedic Surgery in 2010.

Dr. Feras has more than 15 years of experience in the field of Orthopedics including Syria Ministry of Health (General Authority of Kalamoon Hospital) and many private hospitals in Syria where he served as a Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon.

Dr. Feras moved to Dubai, UAE in 2014 and worked as Specialist Senior Orthopedic Surgeon in Tarabichi Centre for Joint Surgery, Burjeel Hospital for Advanced Surgery from 2015 to 2018 with special expertise in Joint Arthroplasty.

Dr. Feras has participated as an author and co-author in a number of researches in the field of Knee Joint Replacement to his credit and has been published in the reputed journal (Bone & Joint Journal), he had also presented many papers and abstracts at international conferences (2nd WAC Rome 2018, ISTA London 2018).

He keeps himself updated in the field of Joint Surgery by attending, submitting the papers & abstracts in conferences and workshops both local & international.

His special area of interest are :

• Knee Arthroscopy (ACL & PCL Reconstruction, Meniscus Injuries)
• Traumatic Injuries and Disorders (Fractures, Dislocations)

• Hand and Foot Surgery
