Dr. Firoz Kazhungil

Dr. Firoz obtained his MBBS from Government Medical College, Kozhikode, India and MD in Psychiatry from the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore, India.

Dr. Firoz has more than 10 years of clinical, teaching and research experience in Psychiatry and Psychology.

Dr. Firoz was working as assistant professor of psychiatry in India before moving to UAE. He was actively involved in clinical care, training psychiatry residents and mental health research. Dr. Firoz has more than 20 research publications in his credit.

He is a regular speaker in international psychiatry conferences and his research papers have fetched him many prestigious awards including

• Young Psychiatrist Fellowship of World Congress of Psychiatry, Berlin, Germany, 2017
