Dr. Francois Prunel

Dr Francois Prunel has been practicing for 9 years as a general surgeon and has been working during 4 years in digestive, hepato-biliary and endocrine department in Cochin hospital in the center of PARIS, France.

This experience gave him a specific knowledge in Endocrine surgery (thyroid, adrenal and pancreas surgeries) and Colo-rectal surgery.

The Cochin’s department of digestive, hepato-biliary and endocrine surgery is well known for his expertise in general surgery and a world-famous department for adrenal and endometriosis surgery.

Dr Prunel has an expertise in common general surgery disease as laparoscopic hernia repair, gallbladder disease, pilonidal disease, abdominoplasty… He also has an important experience in advance open, laparoscopic or robotic procedures and has an expertise in emergencies surgeries.

He manages both benign and malignant diseases of the digestive system and has operated on more than 4000 patients over the past 4 years.

He has great capacities in interpersonal relationship, enthusiastic, and have a permanent attention to colleagues and co-workers.

After having done the first part of medical studies in Toulouse, France, for 7 years, Dr Prunel did his residency in digestive surgery department in Clermont-Ferrand, France. As fellowship at the Cochin university hospital he used to participate to education and medical training of residents.

Dr Prunel was appointed as consultant general surgeon in Clemenceau Medical Center in Dubai-UAE in 2020.
