Dr. Fulvio Salvo

Dr. Fulvio Salvo, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician Allergy and Immunology in the Respiratory Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Salvo had been working as a consultant physician at Arcispedale Santa Maria Nuova in Reggio Emilia, Italy. His area of interest includes recognition and treatment of acute allergic conditions such as anaphylaxis, angioedema of the airways and severe asthma.

Dr. Salvo received his medical degree from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, Italy. He completed his residency at the same University, with a specific focus on vasculitis and other autoimmune diseases.

Dr. Salvo has a particular interest in teaching. He had joined Vita-Salute San Raffaele University first as a tutor in the courses “Medical Therapeutics” and “Immunology, Rheumatology, and Allergy” and then as an adjunct professor.

He personally developed and oversaw original research projects in different fields of medicine and co-authored multiple scientific publications on international peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Salvo resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and two children. He loves traveling, hiking and scuba diving. He also plays piano and likes classical music.
