Dr Gokul Sathyarathnam is a Consultant Medical Oncologist who specializes in the treatment of adult solid malignancies with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and hormonal therapy. He treats adult patients (age 18 and above) and his areas of interest include Lung cancer, Breast cancer, Gastrointestinal cancers, Hepatobiliary cancers, Gynecological cancers and Genitourinary cancers.
Dr. Gokul did his MBBS from Trivandrum Medical College, University of Kerala in India. After his MRCP from UK, he completed his Medical Oncology training from Northern Centre for Cancer Care in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. He also completed the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in Medical Oncology from UK.
Dr. Gokul worked as a Consultant Medical Oncologist in James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, UK and later joined SEHA in 2009 and worked as a Consultant in Medical Oncology at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) and later in Sheikh Shakbout Medical City (SSMC).
