Dr. Haluk Alibazoglu, MD, is a Staff Physician in Nuclear Cardiology and Nuclear Medicine in the Imaging Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Alibazoglu is American Board certified in Nuclear Cardiology and Nuclear Medicine.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Alibazoglu was the founder and owner of the world’s first Joint Commission International (JCI) accredited imaging center, CardioCheck and performed more than 50,000 Myocardial Perfusion Imaging (MPI) studies in his institution.

Dr. Alibazoglu earned his medical degree from Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey and later received his PhD in Molecular Biology and Genetics at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, US. He completed his Nuclear Medicine residency at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, USA, followed by a fellowship in Nuclear Cardiology at the same institution.

His personal interests include myocardial absolute flow quantification, medical simulators and flight simulation.
