Dr. Hanan Fayed

Dr. Hanan Fayed is a prominent Pediatric Ophthalmologist who comes with more than 11 years of solid experience in the field. She pursued her M.B.B.CH. from Cairo University in 2003 and her Master’s Degree from the same university in 2009. She further went on to become Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow (FRCS) and Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO). Dr. Hanan has been associated with eminent healthcare institutions in Cairo and in Abu Dhabi where she has been involved in diagnosing and managing corneal, glaucoma, plastic and retinal diseases through the use of various ophthalmologic instruments. As a Pediatric Ophthalmologist, her main focus area is on the development of the visual system and the various diseases that disrupt visual development in children. Her areas of expertise cover the various ocular diseases that affect children including the clinical and surgical management of congenital eye abnormalities, strabismus, amblyopia, squint, pediatric glaucoma and other eye conditions. Dr. Hanan is member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS), Japanese Association for Strabismus and Amblyopia (JASA) and International Strabismological Association (ISA)
