Dr. Haytham Dimashkieh, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining to Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Dimashkieh practiced in South Carolina for twelve years in surgical pathology and cytopathology. He also held academic appointments as Clinical Associate Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina and University of South Carolina, Greenville School of Medicine.

Dr. Dimashkieh received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut, in Beirut, Lebanon. He completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Cincinnati, followed by a Surgical and Medical Pathology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic and a Cytopathology fellowship at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is American Board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology.

Dr. Dimashkieh’s pathology experience includes both the academic and private practice settings, during which he also had leadership and administrative responsibilities. He has broad diagnostic skills across all major subspecialties of Surgical Pathology with special interest in tubular gastrointestinal pathology, breast pathology, thyroid pathology, lung pathology and Cytopathology.
