Dr. Hussein Hamed

Dr. Hussein Hamed has over 14 years of medical experience is his field, he has earned his MBBCh from Mansoura University, Egypt in 2003. He passed the first and second part of MRCPCH in UK during the year of 2013 and 2014. He obtained his HAAD license as a Pediatric Specialist.

He started his medical practice as a House Officer in his previous university. A year later, he worked as a General Practitioner in a primary health care and family medicine. In 2009, He then became a Pediatric, PICU and NICU resident, for four years in a governmental hospital in Egypt.

In 2012, he moved to Kuwait where he worked as a Pediatric registrar in a pediatric general ward and pediatric ER in a public general hospital. After 5 years, he continued his medical practice as a Pediatric Specialist in a pioneering stand-alone hospital that has Pediatric LTAC services in Abu Dhabi.

He completed several trainings such as Child Growth Assessment, Pediatric Advance Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation program. He participated as a speaker in international CME programs and conferences. He also conducted a research, present at Journal of American Science.

His interests include endotracheal intubations, insertion of peripheral venous canula, peripheral arterial canula and blood sampling, experience with different ventilator modes including all conventional and high frequency ventilators, insertion of peripheral long lines, insertion of chest tube, urinary catheters, sedation and analgesia, lumber puncture, arterial blood sampling, central venous line, mastering all types of conventional and high frequency ventilators, management of pediatric and neonatal emergencies, neonatal resuscitation of all high risk deliveries and mastering of nitric oxide inhalation.
