Dr. Hussein Nasser Matlik

Dr. Matlik completed his graduation ( MBCHB) from the Mosul University in Iraq in 1981. Subsequently, he completed his Diploma in Child Health from the Arab Board of Pediatrics in 1993. In 1994 , Dr. Matlik acquired his CABP from the Arab Board of Pediatrics in 1994. He became a Member of the Royal College of Pediatric and Child Health, UK in 2003. Dr. Matlik was awarded Fellowship from the Royal College of Pediatric and Child Health, UK in 2015. He also holds Certificates in General Pediatrics Training (2011) ,he achieved the European training advisory Board in pediatric neurology, he is a member of British pediatric neurology association( UK) . Dr. Matlik is also a certified PALS ( Pediatric Advanced Life Support ) provider.

Dr. Matlik started his career in his home country Iraq. After completing his residency and internship, he joined the a Maternity and Children’s hospital as a Pediatric Specialist in 1994. He was also a lecturer at the Kindy Medical College, Bagdhad University. In the year 2000, Dr. Matlik moved to UAE and joined a private hospital in Abu Dhabi as a Pediatric Specialist. In 2005, he joined a Government Hospital in Abu Dhabi as a Pediatric Specialist initially and then later on in 2007 assumed the role of Pediatric Neurologist with consultant capacity.

Dr. Matlik has more than 20 years of experience in his field which include the key areas of EEG reporting, Epilepsy Management, Spasticity Management, Headache and Migraine. He has authored many articles which have been published in international publications of repute.
