Dr. Imadeddin Mohamad Barakat

Dr. Barakat has more than 22 years of experience with a special interest in Diabetes (Management and prevention), DKA, Metabolic Syndrome, Cardiovascular disease, Hypertension, Thyroid disease, Sepsis, ICU and acute medicine. He has worked at a number of hospitals around the region including the Damascus University Hospitals, Syria, the Fakeeh Hospital, Jeddah and Al-Gharbia Hospital, Abu Dhabi, as an Internal Medicine specialist before joining us at Danat Al Emarat as an Internal Medicine specialist and Diabetology.

EDUCATION

Dr. Barakat educational background includes Syrian Board – Specialization Certificate in Internal Medicine, Medical College at Cardiff University, UK and Incident Command Structure and Basic Disaster Management Course.
