Dr. Irfan Shafiq

Dr. Irfan Shafiq, MBBS, is a Staff Physician in the Respiratory Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Shafiq served as a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine at Lymington New Forest Hospital, Southampton, UK, where he also held the post of Clinical Services Director. He also served as Honorary Consultant at the University Hospital Southampton in the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Unit.

Dr. Shafiq graduated from Punjab Medical College in Pakistan and continued his postgraduate training in the UK at The Royal College of Physicians, London, where he gained his MRCP. He holds a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Respiratory and General Medicine and has also completed a clinical fellowship in Adult Cystic Fibrosis at Southampton General Hospital, UK.
