Dr. Jamil Mahmoud El Chayeb

Dr. Jamil Mahmoud El Chayeb is a Consultant in Gastroenterology with over 20 years of experience.

Dr. Jamil treats a wide range of medical conditions, including reflux, functional dyspepsia, irritable bowel syndrome / disease, constipation, obesity management for bariatric patients.

He has a special interest in Gastroenterology and Hepatology and provides diagnosis and treatment of stomach and colon cancers, colonoscopy, gastroscopy, ulcers amongst many other indications. Within Hepatology his areas of interest are fatty liver, hepatitis, cirrhosis and liver failure.

Dr. Jamil pursued his MBBS and MD followed by certificate in Internal Medicine, he then completed his certificate in Gastroenterology from American University of Beirut in Lebanon. Prior to joining NMC Royal Hospital – Khalifa City, he was associated with Clemenceau Medical Center Beirut, Lebanon.
