Dr. Jayakumar Kandammattil completed his MBBS from Trichur Government Medical College, later obtaining his MD (General Medicine) from Coimbatore Government Medical College and his DM (Neurology) from Madurai Government Medical College.
From 2004 to 2007, he was Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Rajiv Gandhi Medical University in Bangalore, Father Mullers Medical College and Yenepoya Medical College. He joined NMC Specialty Hospital, Abu Dhabi in 2007.
He keeps himself abreast of the latest developments in Neurology by attending regular forums like the Indian Association of Neurologists amongst other conferences and CMEs.
