Dr. Jessica Anders

Mrs. Jessica Anders is a Clinical Psychologist at ACPN. Mrs. Anders obtained her Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Forensic Psychology from the University of Maastricht, the Netherlands in 2013. She also completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the same University in 2008. Mrs. Anders holds a license to practice psychology in Germany (PsychThG). She also completed certification in Sexual Therapy at the Berlin School of Sexual Health (BSSH) in 2015.

Before joining ACPN, Mrs. Anders worked as psychologist in various settings, including a forensic hospital, psychiatric settings (inpatient and outpatient treatment) and an emergent care setting for sexual disorders. She also participated in various national and international conferences and gave lectures on topics such as sexual preference disorders (paraphilia) and sexually deviant behavior. Her ongoing interest in the field of teaching and medical practice factored into her expanded view of taking on roles in psychotherapy in foreign countries.

Mrs. Anders has experience in working with adults with a variety of psychological disorders, including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorder, substance use disorder, personality disorder and paraphilia. She also works with individuals and couples, struggling with sex related problems. She is well experienced in individual, group, and couple therapy. Although her key approach in working with patients is Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Ms. Anders aims at an integrative approach, combining elements of interpersonal therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and psychodynamics, tailored to individual needs.
