Dr. Jocelyne Charest

Dr. Jocelyne Charest was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. She graduated in 1996 from Montreal University where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Because she understands that the best professionals never stop learning, she attends over 180 hours of continuing education every year. She is the only dentist graduated from the renowned Las Vegas Institute, USA in Dubai.

Dr. Charest is the first Certified Neuromuscular Dentist in Dubai. Based on over 40 years of research, Neuromuscular Dentistry (Physiologic Based Dentistry) aims to help people with TMD/TMJ (jaw) problem, which may cause headaches, neck and back pain. Considering the bite or occlusion, the components of the system are the teeth, joints, and muscles and various soft tissues.

The Physiologic Based Dentistry approach (Neuromuscular) is the most complete perspective as it blends all three of these components starting with objective data to evaluate the function and comfort of the muscles.In addition, Dr Charest has received extensive training for the treatment of OSA (better known as Sleep Apnea), snoring and other sleep disorders.
