Dr. Kamal Hassan is our Pediatric Gastroenterology Consultant at Danat Al Emarat. Dr. Kamal has more than 31 years of experience in the fields of gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition. He specializes in intestinal failure, inflammatory bowel disease, chronic constipation, severe diarrhea, recurrent abdominal pain, food allergies or intolerance, recurrent vomiting, gastroesophageal reflux disease, feeding and nutritional problems.
Dr. Kamal earned his medical degree from University of Khartoum, Sudan. He is a member of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health, UK, 2003. He is also a member of Pan-Arab Society of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition (PASPGHAN), 2010, and North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition (NASPGHAN), 2017. Dr. Kamal is a Fellow of The Hospital for Sick Children – SickKids, Canada.
