Dr. Karan Poddar, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Poddar was a Clinical Fellow in Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA.
Dr. Poddar received his medical degree from Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College, Meerut, India. He completed his residency in Neurology and his fellowship in Vascular Neurology (Stroke) at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Oklahoma City, USA. Subsequently, he moved to Boston and was Clinical Fellow in Neurophysiology and Epilepsy at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA.
Dr. Poddar resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife. He enjoys cooking and trying out new restaurants. He also loves to travel and explore new cultures.
