Dr. Khalil Wasfi Zahra

Dr. Khalil Wasfi Zahra, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Zahra was a Neurointerventional Surgery Consultant at North Jersey Brain and Spine, Mecklenburg Radiology Associates, New Jersey, US. He was also an Assistant Professor of Radiology, Neurology and Neurosurgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Maryland, US.

Dr. Zahra received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Jordan School of Medicine where he graduated with honors and was ranked second in his class. He received his medical training from Stanford University Medical Center and while attending the University of Maryland, he was considered one of the best young Neuro-Interventional Surgeons. During his time serving there, he performed more than 2,000 angiograms and one of the earliest pipeline flow diversion surgeries in the state of Maryland.​
