Dr. Koshy Georgey

Dr. Koshy, Georgey is a distinguished interventional cardiologist with profound experience of over 18 years. He obtained his graduation from the prominent Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India followed by Masters (MD) from the same institution. He further went on to pursue DM in Cardiology from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, Chennai, India. In order to provide an advanced level of care and a wider spectrum of treatment options to his patients, he attained his Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology (FIIC) from the prestigious Narayana Hrudayalaya in Bangalore, India.

In the span of his career, Dr. Koshy has been associated with several healthcare institutes of great repute across UAE, Qatar and India. He also serves as Specialist Aeromedical Examiner at the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority.

Dr. Koshy’s areas of interest include adult interventional cardiology, chest pain assessment and management, heart failure management, cardiac rhythm disturbances, aviation medicine/cardiology and sports medicine/cardiology.

Dr. Koshy is a member of various prestigious institutions such as International Associate of the American College of Cardiology, Qatar National Health Authority and Karnataka Medical Council. Dr. Koshy not only comes with immense research experience, but he also has to his credit several presentations in his field of study and attends multiple conferences to keep himself abreast with the latest developments in his field.
