Dr. Luai T. Eldweik, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician in the Eye Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Eldweik was a pediatric ophthalmologist and comprehensive ophthalmologist at the Jordan Hospital and a pediatric ophthalmologist at Al Sharif Eye Center, both in Amman, Jordan.
Dr. Eldweik received his medical degree from October Six University, October Six City, Giza, Egypt. He completed his residency at Jordanian Royal Medical Services, Amman, Jordan, before traveling to the US for a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts, US and a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota, US.
Dr. Eldweik has a special interest in comprehensive pediatric ophthalmology, pediatric and adult strabismus, nasolacrimal (tearing) problems and a variety of neuro-ophthalmic disorders, including double vision, optic neuropathies, facial spasms and pseudo tumor cerebri.
