Dr. Maria Fernanda Bonilla

Dr. Maria Fernanda Bonilla, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Medical Subspecialties Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Bonilla worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and as an Infectious Diseases Consultant at Pinnacle Infectious Diseases in Ohio, US.

She is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Bonilla completed Medical School at Universidad del Valle in her birth country, Colombia. She subsequently pursued her Internal Medicine residency and Infectious Diseases fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, US.

Following her training, Dr. Bonilla worked in the Northeast Ohio, Akron area for three years, where she built up a busy practice.

Dr. Bonilla resides in Abu Dhabi with her husband and their three children.
