Dr. Martin E. Lascano, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Medical Subspecialties Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Lascano was a Staff Member in the Department of Nephrology and Hypertension at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, US serving as Director of Hospital Dialysis and Quality Improvement Officer for the department.

Dr. Lascano is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and also a member of the American College of Physicians and the International Society of Nephrology.

He obtained his medical degree from the Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia and worked as a Social Service Physician at Hospital San Esteban in La Union, Valle, Colombia, before moving to the US in 2001 to complete his training. He undertook his internship and residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in Nephrology at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, US. He completed his postgraduate medical training in the US, serving as Chief Resident at Cleveland Clinic and then as Chief Fellow in the Nephrology and Hypertension Fellowship Program.

Dr. Lascano resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and their three children.​
