Dr. Marwa Tawfik

Dr. Marwa Tawfik is a competent Dermatologist with an MBBS from Tanta University Medical College, Egypt (2006) and a Master’s degree in Dermatology and Venereology from the same University (2013). She completed her residency program as a dermatologist in various hospitals in Egypt till 2013 then worked in Care National Hospital as a Specialist Dermatology in Riyadh, KSA till 2017. She passed the Aesthetic Dermatology Training Course of Arab Institute of Continuing Professional Development (AICPD) in Cairo, Egypt in 2017. Dr. Marwa relocated to Abu Dhabi in 2017 and was associated with a reputable healthcare institution since then. Her areas of expertise include management of all acute and chronic skin diseases in adult & pediatric patients; management of hair & nail disorders, skin allergies & psoriasis; treatment of skin color diseases such as vitiligo, melasma & freckles and treatment of acne scars. She is an expert in the use of Cryotherapy, Electrocautery, Phototherapy, Laser therapy for various indications including laser hair reduction, cutaneous resurfacing, skin rejuvenation, treatment of vascular lesions and pigmented skin disorders etc. She is adept at Botox injections, Chemical peeling, Platelet Rich Plasma injection, Mesotherapy injection, Micro-needling, Dermabrasion, Radiofrequency for wrinkles and skin rejuvenation. In addition, she is skilled in Intralesional injections, Intralesional Immunotherapy, Skin biopsies and Minor skin surgical procedures.Dr. Marwa has over 10 years of work experience in Dermatology and Cosmetology. She has keen interest to attend national and international courses and conferences to keep her knowledge and clinical practice up to date.
