Dr. Maryam Mousa Ammoura

Dr. Maryam is currently a general practitioner in in the Obstetrics & Gynecology department in Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women & Children. Before joining Danat Al Emarat, she was part of Al-Corniche Hospital, Abu Dhabi as a Medical Practitioner in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department for few years. She has also worked as a BLS & First Aid Instructor with the American Safety & Health Institute from 2008 to 2013. Throughout her clinical practice, Dr Maryam was a member of the clinical guidelines committee, had rotations with obstetric medicine and was a member of the diabetes care team and has participated in several clinical audits. She has special interest in managing diabetes in pregnancy, and investigating and managing miscarriages.

EDUCATION

Dr. Maryam Ammoura completed her MBBS in 1998 from Punjab University, Pakistan. She has also completed her Part 1 of MRCOG in September 2015 from the Royal College, UK.
