Dr. Massimo Lamperti, MD, is the Institute Chair of the Anesthesiology Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Lamperti was a Consultant Anesthesiologist at the National Neurological Institute Besta, a quaternary neurological center in Milan, Italy. He completed his fellowships in the US and UK.
Dr. Lamperti brings vast experience in anesthesia and critical care, with an interest in neuro-anesthesia. His main clinical field is neuro-anesthesia and critical care in acute brain injured patients.
In the last ten years, he became one of the top researchers in the field of point-of-care ultrasound in critically ill patients and developed an international training course for ultrasound-guided insertion of vascular accesses. Dr. Lamperti is a peer reviewer of many international indexed journals in the field of anesthesiology, critical care, pediatricsand neurosurgery.
Dr. Lamperti lives in Abu Dhabi with his family and enjoys running marathons in his free time.
