Dr. Mauricio Taborda

Dr. Mauricio Taborda is a certified implantologist in Dubai recognized by DHA and a periodontics specialty degree holder in Brazil. He earned his DDS from University of Brasilia, Brazil in 2004.

With excellence in surgical field, he was invited to be an assistant monitor in the periodontics department in his university. Pursuing further education, he completed his first specialization in the same institution, a 2 year program. Passionate on the surgical field, he pursued conferences and courses in Implantology area until he completed his second specialization in Implantology in the Brazilian Dental Association (ABO – Brasilia), also a 2-year program.

Dr. Mauricio worked in his private practice mainly as a specialist dentist performing implants, periodontics and minor surgery, supported by his staff in all areas in dentistry. Working in Dubai since 2011, he kept his surgical skills updated with courses and congresses in the best centers in the world for dental surgery, located in USA and Germany. More recently, Dr. Mauricio works with the most advanced technology in digital dentistry, performing virtual planning in implants, surgical guided implants installation and digital prosthetic driven protocols.
