Dr. Mazen Shaheen

Dr. Mazen Shaheen is an interventional cardiologist with a special interest in preventive cardiology.

He completed his bachelor of science and medical school degrees at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. He then went to the United States where he did his internal medicine training at the University of Cincinnati then did his cardiology fellowship at the University of Tennessee. He completed additional training in interventional cardiology at Oklahoma University focused on peripheral and coronary interventions.

Since then he has been a practicing interventional cardiologist in the United States and has had extensive experience in evaluating and managing a wide spectrum of cardiovascular disease including the placement of cardiac and peripheral stents. He also has a special interest in preventive cardiology, spending time in teaching patients how to avoid developing heart disease. Dr Shaheen is well published with around twenty publications. He is also invited by United State medical boards as expert reviewer for cardiovascular cases.

He is American Board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, and echocardiography.
